Subrat has 40 years of engineering experience in Process Design and Project management in oil & gas industry with major oil companies e.g. SHELL & EXXON etc. He has extensive experience in the areas of petroleum refining, onshore & offshore oil production, natural gas gathering & processing and LNG plants. He has experience in engineering, procurement and start-up & commissioning of refineries, GOSPs, LNG plants, gas processing, sulphur recovery, utilities and off-sites, SAGD, tailings processing, heavy oil, raw water and waste water treatment.   He is experienced in conducting process studies, FEED and Detail Engineering of major projects, which included preparation of Basis of Design, DBM, Safeguarding Memorandum, Design Philosophies, Project specifications, PFD, P&IDs, HMB, HAZOP Reports, C&E Matrices, equipment datasheet/ specifications and review of Plot plan, piping plans, vendor evaluations, bid reviews and key drawings.  He is experienced in plant troubleshooting and debottlenecking of process units/plants, major shutdown planning, plant startup and commissioning in oil refineries, LNG plants, NGL and gas processing units,  water treating, off-sites and utility facilities. He has participated in preparation of proposals for FEED & Detail Engineering EPC (reimbursable & lump-sum) bids for major projects e.g. Waist Gas Program (ARAMCO), Detail Engineering for CNRL Froth Treatment trains, Shaybah Gas Oil Separation & NGL facilities (ARAMCO).
